Alan and Elizabeth with their daughter Jo started this venture in 1983 with one particular store in the principle Road of Nambucca heads. It rapidly turned two shops which quickly became far too modest so a 1400 m² brick showroom was constructed on the edge of the commercial area with the corner of Pioneer and Duke Streets.
